Team India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his maiden ton in the series-deciding third ODI against South Africa in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, December 6. The southpaw removed his helmet and let out a passionate celebration before hugging his batting partner Virat Kohli. Head coach Gautam Gambhir was also seen applauding from the dressing room.The moment came in the 36th over of the innings as the southpaw, on 99, nudged the ball to deep fine leg off Corbin Bosch's bowling to take a single. Rohit reached his 33rd ODI fifty in 54 deliveries but fell for 75 to left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj. Nevertheless, the 155-run opening stand set things up perfectly for the chase.Earlier in the day, Indian skipper KL Rahul had won the toss and elected to bowl first, seemingly due to the dew factor. Although Quinton de Kock sizzled with 106, the other South African batters couldn't step up.
