Punjab Kings (PBKS) leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal shared an emotional post after Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell withdrew his name from the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) auction on Tuesday. The two were part of the Punjab-based side that finished as the runners-up of IPL 2025.Chahal stated that he would miss all the fun and banter with Maxwell. He also posted a video, giving fans a glimpse of their bond.Suggesting that the PBKS dressing room won't be the same without the swashbuckling batter's presence, the 35-year-old wrote on X:"Gonna miss you, Maxi Bro. The fun, the madness, the banter… dressing room won’t feel the same without you."Maxwell returned to PBKS after the franchise signed him at ₹4.20 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction. However, it was a season to forget for the veteran cricketer as he finished with just 48 runs across six innings at a strike rate of 97.95.He performed decently with the ball, claiming four wickets from six innings at an economy rate of 8.46. Announcing that he won't be registering his name for the IPL 2026 auction, the Aussie star wrote on Instagram:"After many unforgettable seasons in the IPL, I’ve decided not to put my name into the auction this year. It’s a big call, and one I make with a lot of gratitude for everything this league has given me.
