Seasoned Team India batter Virat Kohli has been in terrific form in the ongoing three-match ODI series against South Africa. In fact, he is the leading run-getter in the series at the moment, with 237 runs in two innings at an average of 118.50 and a strike rate of 111.27.
The former India captain scored 135 off 120 balls in the first ODI in Ranchi, a knock which featured 11 fours and seven sixes. The 37-year-old followed it up with 102 off 93 balls in the second one-dayer in Raipur. The 143-minute stay featured seven fours and two sixes.
Team India will be hoping for another big knock from their star batter in the third and deciding ODI at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, December 6. Kohli has an excellent record in one-dayers in Visakhapatnam. In seven matches, he has scored 587 runs at an average of 97.83 and a strike rate of 100.34, with three hundreds and two half-centuries.

Kohli also scored a well-compiled 118 off 121 balls against Australia in October 20, 2010. India were set to chase a challenging 290 in the game and the No. 3 batter guided them to victory with a fine hundred. He struck 11 fours and a six in his 193-minute knock as the Men in Blue won the contest by five wickets.
Kohli also hit 117 off 123 balls against West Indies in Visakhapatnam in December 2011. The innings included 14 hits to the fence. This was yet another knock that came in a successful chase as the hosts cruised home by five wickets after being set 270 for a win. Kohli was also dismissed for 99 off 100 balls against West Indies in November 2013. Team India went on to lose this game by two wickets.
