Virat Kohli moved into T20 mode after his 52nd ODI ton in the series opener between India and South Africa at JSCA Stadium in Ranchi on Sunday, November 30. The right-handed batter went all guns blazing against Prenelan Subrayen, hitting 4,6,6,4 as India scored 22 off the 40th over.
Skipper KL Rahul took a single off the very first delivery, and Kohli played a dot ball before hitting Subrayen towards different sides of the stadium. The 37-year-old began his carnage with a flick shot for a boundary before clearing cow corner and long-on for consecutive sixes. He then finished the over on a high note by hitting a four over extra cover.

Team India will be looking to avenge their 0-2 clean sweep against South Africa in Tests by winning the ODI series. The 2025 Champions Trophy winners lost 1-2 to Australia in their previous 50-over series.
