The International Cricket Council (ICC), on Thursday, December 11, announced the opening of ticket sales for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026. The world cricket body has kept the prices affordable to make the tournament accessible for the fans, with the ticket rates beginning at ₹100 in India and LKR 1000 in Sri Lanka.
The 10th edition of the tournament begins on February 7 and will run until March 8, and will be played across five venues in India and three in Sri Lanka. The opening day of the competition will feature Pakistan vs Netherlands, West Indies vs Bangladesh and co-hosts India kickstarting their campaign against USA.
The Indian venues for the tournament are Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Meanwhile, R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the Singhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo, and the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy will host matches in Sri Lanka.
