SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) star batter and Jharkhand captain Ishan Kishan smashed a brilliant one-handed six to bring up his century in the ongoing 2025 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) final against Haryana. The match is being played on Thursday, December 18, at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.Opening the innings, Kishan looked in sublime touch from the outset, racing to 28 runs off his first 15 balls. The left-hander maintained his aggressive approach and took Amit Rana to the cleaners, hammering three sixes in the sixth over. The 27-year-old reached his half-century with a boundary off the 25th delivery.The Jharkhand skipper continued his attacking display and eventually completed his hundred off just 45 balls, bringing up the milestone in spectacular fashion with a scintillating one-handed six over deep extra cover off Anshul Kamboj.Watch the video of the moment here:He finished with a superb 101 off 49 deliveries, striking six fours and 10 sixes. With this innings, he became the leading run-scorer of the competition at the conclusion of the first innings of the ongoing final. However, skipper Ishan Kishan and Kumar Kushagra then took control of the innings, adding a commanding 177 runs off just 82 balls for the second wicket.Kishan smashed a superb 101 off 49 deliveries, while Kushagra contributed a brisk 81 off 38 balls, striking eight fours and five sixes. In the latter stages, Anukul Roy and Robin Minz kept up the momentum, stitching together an unbeaten 75-run stand off 29 balls for the fourth wicket. Roy remained not out on 40 off 20 balls, while Minz stayed unbeaten on 31 off 14 deliveries as Jharkhand finished their 20 overs at a massive 262/3 in the 2025 SMAT final.
