Smriti Mandhana's father was taken to the Sarvhit Hospital. Dr. Naman Shah, Director of the hospital, provided an update on his health and current condition.

"He was immediately transferred to Sarvhit Hospital and Medical Research Center in Sangli for further assessment. Despite his slightly raised cardiac enzymes, he requires ongoing observation. There are no new findings on the echocardiogram. However, he may need continuous ECG monitoring and, if necessary, angiography. Currently, his blood pressure is slightly elevated, so he needs continuous monitoring...It could be due to physical or mental stress, perhaps because it is wedding season with a lot of hectic activity," he told ANI.

Smriti had an impressive campaign at the World Cup 2025. She piled on 434 runs from nine games, averaging 54.12. Smriti also scored a hundred and a fifty.
