Ravindra Jadeja knocked over Tristan Stubbs cheaply on Day 2 of the first Test between India and South Africa at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday, November 15. The left-arm spinner cleaned up Stubbs for just five runs to reduce the Proteas to 60/5 in their second innings.
The dismissal came in the 23rd over of India’s second innings. Jadeja bowled a length ball on middle stump, and Stubbs went for a straight-bat block but was beaten by a distance. The right-handed batter failed to read the line of the ball, which crashed into the off-stump. He looked flabbergasted by the dismissal.
