Urvil has been impressive with the bat in his limited outing for Gujarat in first-class cricket. He has amassed 458 runs in 11 matches (17 innings) with a best score of 140, which he achieved against Saurashtra in February of this year.

Urvil Patel was picked mid-season as a replacement player by CSK during IPL 2025.
