Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Mandeep Singh named his top five unsold players from the IPL 2026 auction. His first name was Jammu & Kashmir all-rounder Abid Mushtaq. Mandeep reckoned that he did not get a bid as his current form in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2025-26 was not great. The left-arm spinner and batter has scored 42 runs from six games with just two wickets. He then named the all-rounder from Punjab, Sanvir Singh. Mandeep Singh stated that Sanvir had a strong six-hitting ability but failed to get any buyer. However, his current form in the SMAT 2025-26 has not been great, having scored just 52 runs from six innings. The former RCB batter then named Sri Lanka all-rounder Dasun Shanaka."He is very underrated and plays the role of a finisher. Many teams needed a player in this role, but unfortunately, he did not get a buyer either," he said. His last player in the list was Tripura all-rounder Manisankar Murasingh. While he reflected that Manisankar was not a gun T20 bowler, he praised the right-arm pacer for his variations and solid current form."Not a gun T20 bowler, but he has a lot of idea. He bowls slower bouncers, wide slower ones and good yorkers. He has a lot of experience and his current form in the Mushtaq Ali was also great. He has the ability to hit sixes and unfortunately, he did not get a buyer despite his current form," he reflected.Murasingh has smashed 277 runs from seven games in the SMAT 2025-26 with a strike rate of 172.04 with 21 sixes. He has also bagged six wickets at an economy of 7.60.Mandeep Singh makes a few honorable mentions who were unsold at the IPL 2026 auctionApart from the top five unsold players, Mandeep Singh also made some honorable mentions. Anmolpreet has been in good form, scoring 349 runs from 10 games in the SMAT 2025-26 at a strike rate of 175.37.A few other names that he mentioned included batter Mayank Agarwal, and pacers Simarjeet Singh and Navdeep Saini.
