A different side of KL Rahul was seen on the field when he blasted Prasidh in Kannada on the field during the game. He asked the pacer not to use his mind and bowl according to the plan given to him. However, as Prasidh still bowled bouncers, Rahul slammed him for not following the plan.

"Prasidh, nin thale odsbeda, helid haaku. Helidini en haakbeku anta adana haaku, talegella beda eega (Prasidh, don't use your brains, just bowl where I have told you to. I have told you what to bowl, do that, don't bowl to the head right now)," he said.

However, as Prasidh still bowled to the batter's head, KL Rahul expressed his anger.

"Prasidh, heli bandidini! Talege haaktidiyalla maga (Prasidh, I have just told you, still you are bowling at the head bro)," he was heard saying.

Prasidh Krishna had a night to forget. He was on the expensive side of things, returning figures of 2/85 from 8.2 overs at an economy of 10.2. The Men in Blue failed to defend a total of 358 as South Africa got over the line in 49.2 overs.

The final ODI of the series in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, December 6, will now be a decider.

KL Rahul's blistering unbeaten half-century goes in vain

Meanwhile, KL Rahul has been in solid form with the bat in this series. He scored a vital half-century in the first ODI, making 60 runs off 56 balls. In the second game, he carried the form and scored a blistering unbeaten fifty to give India a strong finish.

Walking in at number five, he struck 66 not out off just 43 balls, including six boundaries and two sixes at a strike-rate of 153.49. Moreover, he scored 12 runs off the last three balls of the Indian innings, hitting a boundary and a six.

However, his impressive knock went in vain as the Men in Blue eventually lost the game. Nonetheless, it will be important for Rahul to maintain his form as India will aim to bounce back in the final ODI.
