Mohammed Siraj helped India finally get rid of centurion Senuran Muthusamy on Day 2 of the second Test against South Africa at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday, November 23. Senuran was caught out, departing for 109 runs off 206 balls. The wicket also ended a 97-run stand between Muthuswamy and Marco Jansen for the eighth wicket.The dismissal came in the 139th over of the Proteas’ first innings and the second over after lunch break. Siraj began the over with a bouncer, and Muthusamy rolled his wrists but failed to keep the ball down. The southpaw ended up getting a top-edge that flew straight towards Yashasvi Jaiswal at fine leg.
