MI Squad WPL 2026: Complete Mumbai Indians Player List with Prices in INR after WPL 2026 Auction

Two-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) have assembled a new-look squad for the next Women's Premier League (WPL) cycle during the 2026 Auction in New Delhi on Thursday, November 27. Having retained the majority of their core, the defending champions had headed to the auction with a purse of INR 5.75 crore, the second lowest among all sides.

MI did not have a Right to Match card as well after retaining the maximum quota of five players. They chose to keep overseas all-rounders Nat Sciver-Brunt and Hayley Matthews, skipper Harmanprett Kaur, and the pair of Amanjot Kaur and G Kamalini.

The franchise made a massive statement by going all out for one of their own, New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr, in the early marquee set of the auction. They shelled out INR 3 crore, more than half of their purse, to bring her back among their ranks after an intense bidding war with the UP Warriorz.

MI also managed to rope another one of their former players in the form of the veteran South African speedster, Shabnim Ismail. The team roped her in for a sum of INR 60 Lakh.

Another player that MI secured to bring back was the explosive finisher, Sajeevan Sajana. She was brought in once again for a sum of INR 75 Lakh. In the final accelerated round, the team also brought back left-arm spinner Saika Ishaque for INR 30 Lakh.

As their final overseas signing to fill up the slot of six, Australian pacer Milly Illingworth was acquired for INR 10 Lakh. The signing also ended their purse, as they now have a squad of 16 players.

The WPL 2026 season will be held from January 9 to February 5 in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara.
