Team India captain KL Rahul brought out a mini celebration as the Men in Blue finally won the toss ahead of a third ODI against South Africa. The game will be played at Visakhapatnam on Saturday, December 6.India had lost 20 consecutive tosses in ODIs before this game and finally managed to break the jinx. KL Rahul brought out a short celebration as he made a fist pump and had a relieved smile on his face.The crowd also erupted in joy and gave out a loud cheer as Rahul could not hear what the presenter, Murali Kartik, asked about what the team would do having won the toss. Rahul also expressed that they wanted to chase a total and see how they could perform bowling first. Notably, the hosts batted first in the first two games of the series. India won the first game at Ranchi by 17 runs. Batting first, they posted a total of 349/8 on the board and restricted South Africa to 332 all out. Virat Kohli slammed a brilliant 120-ball 135 while Kuldeep Yadav bagged four wickets.However, the Proteas bounced back with a victory in the second game at Raipur. The hosts once again posted a huge total of 358/5 on the board. Kohli scored another hundred, making 102, while Ruturak Gaikwad also struck a ton (105). South Africa chased the total down in 49.2 overs with four wickets to spare as Aiden Markram registered a match-winning century (110).The hosts will aim to put the defeat behind them and seal the series at Visakhapatnam. Having lost the Test series 0-2, they will want to avoid another series defeat.
