Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah gave India side the first breakthrough by dismissing Ryan Rickelton on Day 1 of the opening Test against South Africa at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. The 31-year-old outsmarted the Proteas opener with a beauty to knock over the off-stump.The dismissal occurred in the 11th over of the innings as captain Shubman Gill gave his premier fast bowler his sixth consecutive over. With Bumrah coming from around the wicket, the ball angled in and moved ever so slightly as Rickelton played down the wrong line.
