Team India stars Shubman Gill and Arshdeep Singh were heard roasting Abhishek Sharma after they landed in Melbourne ahead of the second T20I against Australia on October 31, Friday. Gill, who is the T20I vice-captain, trolled his opening partner for carrying a quirky bag by saying, "Ithe pyaaj hai, uthe aloo."The first T20I betwen the two sides at the Manuka Oval in Canberra resulted in a washout as rains played spoilsport. Although the Men in Blue were going strong by the time rain had interrupted proceedings in Canberra, they will have to start from scratch when the second T20I commences.Watch the below video as Arshdeep asks about Abhishek's bag:"Yeh limited edition hai?" (Is this limited edition?)Moments later, the 26-year-old quipped:"Ithe pyaaj hai, uthe aloo." (Here are onions, over there it's potatoes.)After the players landed, they were also seen clicking some selfies as the BCCI shared a video of the same.Shubman Gill stayed unbeaten on 37 in the first T20I against AustraliaShubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav had stitched an unbroken 62-run stand. Having struggled for runs in the ODI series, the Punjab-born cricketer will have been thrilled to find form. Abhishek Sharma was the only Indian batter to fall as Nathan Ellis dismissed him for 19 with a back-of-a-hand slower delivery. With Suryakumar Yadav coming in at number three, he made an unbeaten 39 off 24 deliveries, laced with three fours and two maximums as India reached 97/1 only in 9.4 overs. The Men in Blue will be keen to carry the momentum in the second T20I at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).The tourists had lost the preceding ODI series 2-1, with Austalia winning the first two games to take an unassailable 2-0 lead. India won the final game by nine wickets in Sydney.
