India vs South Africa 2025, 3rd T20I: Toss result and playing 11s for today’s match, umpires list and pitch report

India are taking on South Africa at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala in the third T20I of the five-match series. Both teams will be jostling to take the lead with the series level at 1-1. India won the first T20I in Cuttack by 101 runs, while the Proteas hit back to win the second match in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh by 51 runs.

South Africa completed dominated the Men in Blue in the second T20I. Sent into bat, they posted a highly challenging total of 213-4 on the board. Quinton de Kock hammered 90 from 46 balls, while the rest also chipped in. India were very poor with the ball. Arshdeep Singh sent down nine wides (seven of them in one over), while Jasprit Bumrah also bowled a number of full tosses.

Apart from bowling, there are major concerns for India in the batting as well. Both opener Shubman Gill and skipper Suryakumar Yadav have been struggling for runs for a while now. The hosts desperately need them to find form, with the T20 World Cup approaching. It would also be interesting to see if the Men in Blue continue with their batting experiments.

India have won the toss and have opted to bowl first. Suryakumar said:

“Looks a good wicket, don't think it will change much. There will be dew later on, so we want to bowl first as we feel it will get heavier later on.”

India have two forced changes. Axar Patel misses out since he is unwell, while Bumrah is unavailable due to personal reasons, so Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav come in. The Proteas have made changes - Corbin Bosch, Anrich Nortje, Tristan Stubbs are back.
