India vs South Africa 2025, 3rd ODI: Toss result and playing 11s for today’s match, umpires list and pitch report

India are facing South Africa at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam in the third and final ODI of the three-match series. With the series level at 1-1, both sides have everything to play for. India beat the Proteas by 17 runs in a high-scoring opening encounter in Ranchi. South Africa then fought back by pulling off a massive chase of 359 in Raipur.

While dew has made life difficult for India's bowlers, their overall performance in the field has been disappointing. It has been yet another series where Prasidh Krishna has leaked plenty of runs even as he has picked up a few wickets. Washington Sundar has been ineffective with the ball, while the other bowlers also proved expensive in the second ODI.

In the batting, Virat Kohli has been in sublime form with back-to-back tons. Ruturaj Gaikwad also scored a brilliant hundred in the previous match, while skipper KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma have also been among the runs. India, however, failed to finish strongly with the bat in the last game, which would concern them.

India have won the toss and have opted to bowl first. KL Rahul said:

"We trained here last night. The feedback from the coaches was that there was dew and it didn't come in early as Ranchi and Raipur. We want to chase the total and see how we can bowl first."

India have made one change - Tilak Varma comes in for Washington Sundar. For the Proteas, Nandre Burger and Tony de Zorzi are out due to injuries; Ottneil Baartman and Ryan Rickelton come in.
