Star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, shared a one-word reaction as he smashed a brilliant fifty in the ongoing first T20I of the five-match series against South Africa. The match is being played on Tuesday, December 9, at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
Coming in at No. 6, Pandya attacked from the start, hitting two sixes in the first five balls of his innings. The India batter continued his assault and reached his fifty off just 25 balls, his sixth in T20I cricket. He finished with a stunning unbeaten 59 off 28 balls, hitting six fours and four sixes.
As the India all-rounder starred in his comeback match after injury, girlfriend Mahieka Sharma shared an Instagram story featuring a picture of Pandya on TV from the game and wrote:
“King.”

During the innings, the 32-year-old also became only the fourth Indian to hit 100 sixes in T20Is for the Men in Blue, joining Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav.

It was Hardik Pandya’s unbeaten 59 off 28 balls that guided the hosts to a respectable total of 175/6 in their 20 overs. For the Proteas, Lungi Ngidi emerged as the standout bowler, returning figures of 3/31 in four overs.
In reply, South Africa lost Quinton de Kock for a two-ball duck as Arshdeep Singh struck in his first over. The India left-arm seamer was at it again in his second over, dismissing right-handed batter Tristan Stubbs for 14 off nine balls.
