The most expensive franchise in Women's Premier League history, Gujarat Giants have announced their retention list for WPL 2026. The Adani Sportsline-owned franchise have retained only two players ahead of the mega auction, namely Beth Mooney and Ashleigh Gardner.Both Mooney and Gardner have played a huge role in Gujarat Giants' WPL success. Under Gardner's captaincy, the Giants made it to the playoffs for the first time ever in WPL history last season.The team management will aim to build a fresh squad around Mooney and Gardner at the upcoming mega auction.
