Star opener Abhishek Sharma's car was mobbed by fans in Hyderabad after Punjab's Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2025-26 match against Bengal. Punjab trashed Bengal by 112 runs in their Elite Group C fixture on November 30.Abhishek Sharma slammed a blistering century. He smashed 148 runs off just 52 balls, hitting eight boundaries and 16 sixes at a strike-rate of 284.61. After the game, the star batter was returning from the ground in a car with teammates Harpreet Brar and Nehal Wadhera.Fans surrounded the car and were seen chanting Abhishek's name. Police officials were seen trying to keep the fans away from the car. The star batter could be seen enjoying the chants. As the fans were very close to the car, Abhishek hilariously told them to break the car."Todho gaddi todho gaddi. Gaddi todho. Todho todho zorr se maaro. Shabaash boys, see you bye (Break the car, break the car. Break the car. Break it, break it, hit hard. It was the third fastest T20 hundred by an Indian. His 148 was also the second-highest individual score in the format by an Indian batter, behind Tilak Varma's 151 in 2024.The left-hander also equalled Rohit Sharma for the second-most T20 hundreds among Indians. He now has eight T20 tons and is only behind Virat Kohli, who tops the list with nine centuries.
