The final player list for the much anticipated IPL 2026 auction was confirmed on Tuesday, December 9. Exactly 350 players have been shortlisted to go under the hammer in Abu Dhabi on December 16.
A report in iplt20.com confirmed that as many as 1,390 players had registered for the IPL 2026 auction, with the final list being pruned down to 350. The auction list includes 240 Indian players and 110 overseas cricketers. There are 224 uncapped Indian cricketers and 14 uncapped overseas cricketers in the list. Also, the player poor includes 16 capped Indian cricketers and 96 capped overseas cricketers.
The 10 IPL franchises will complete to purchase a maximum of 77 players at the auction, with 31 of those slots being reserved for overseas cricketers. Players have registered themselves in eight different price brackets - ₹2 crore being the highest and ₹30 lakh being the lowest.
Players with reserve price of ₹50 lakh for IPL 2026 auction
Only four players have registered their names in the ₹50 lakh price bracket for the IPL 2026 auction. The list is as follows:

Lomror was purchased by Gujarat Titans (GT) for ₹1.70 crore at the IPL 2025 auction. However, he was released by the franchise without being given a game. The left-handed batter has the experience of 40 IPL matches in which he has scored 527 runs at an average of 18.17 and a strike rate of 141.28. He had earlier represented Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).
England's Joe Clarke is a top-order batter, who has the experience of 244 T20 matches. He has 5,918 runs in the format at an average of 26.18 and a strike rate of 144.20, with four hundreds and 34 half-centuries.
Australia's Jack Edwards is a handy all-round cricketer. The 25-year-old has played 63 T20 matches in which he has scored 715 runs, averaging 15.54 at a strike rate of 115.88. With the ball, he has picked up 33 wickets at an average of 26.18 and an economy rate of 8.33.
As for Karn Sharma, the 38-year-old leg spinner has the experience of 90 IPL matches in which he has claimed 83 wickets at an average of 26.68 and an economy rate of 8.38. He represented Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2025, claiming seven wickets in six matches at an economy rate of 8.53.
