Full list of players with ₹40 lakh base price for IPL 2026 auction

The final player list for the upcoming IPL 2026 auction was released on Tuesday, December 9 on the official tournament website. Exactly 350 players have been shortlisted to go under the hammer in Abu Dhabi on December 16.

Earlier, a total of 1,390 players had registered for the mini-auction. However, the final list was pruned down to 350. Of the players who have been shortlisted for the auction, 240 are Indian cricketers and 110 overseas cricketers. The list includes 224 uncapped Indian players and 14 uncapped overseas players. Also, 16 capped Indian cricketers and 96 capped overseas cricketers will be part of the auction.

The 10 IPL franchises will compete to fill up 77 slots, with 31 of the spots being reserved for overseas players. Cricketers have registered themselves in eight price slabs - ₹2 crore being the highest and ₹30 lakh being the lowest.

Only seven players have registered themselves in the ₹40 lakh price bracket for the IPL 2026 auction. The list is as follows:

Indian domestic legend Jalaj Saxena is the oldest player to have registered for the IPL 2026 auction. The 39-year-old all-rounder has played only one IPL match so far, which was for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 2021 season. He has the experience of 79 T20 matches in which he has scored 709 runs and has claimed 86 wickets at an average of 17.67 and an economy rate of 6.6, with the aid of two five-fers and two four-fers.

Indian-origin Nikhil Chaudhary, who represents Hobart Hurricanes (HH) in the Big Bash League, has played 36 T20 matches so far. He has scored 538 runs at a strike rate of 130.26, with one half-century. With his leg spin, Chaudhary has picked up 16 wickets at an average of 34.06 and an economy rate of 7.56.

As for Rajvardhan Hangargekar, the 2022 U19 World Cup star played two matches for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2023 and claimed three wickets. He has played 23 T20 games and has claimed 25 wickets at an average of 25.16 and an economy rate of 8.42.
