Full list of players with ₹1.5 crore base price for IPL 2026 auction

The much-awaited final player list for the IPL 2026 auction was confirmed on Tuesday, December 9. Out of the 1,390 players who had registered for the mini-auction, 350 players have been shortlisted to go under the hammer. The auction will be held in Abu Dhabi on December 16.

The final player list of 350 shortlisted cricketers includes 240 Indian and 110 are overseas players. As many as 224 uncapped Indian players and 14 uncapped overseas cricketers will be up for grabs at the auction. The pool also features 16 capped Indian players and 96 capped overseas cricketers.

While 350 players have been picked for the mini-auction, a maximum of 77 slots can be filled up by the 10 franchises combined, with 31 slots reserved for overseas cricketers. The highest reserve price for the auction remains ₹2 crore.

Players with reserve price of ₹1.5 crore for IPL 2026 auction

Only nine players have registered for the IPL 2026 auction at the second-highest reserve price of ₹1.5 crore. The list includes as many as five Australians - Spencer Johnson, Matthew Short, Riley Meredith, Jhye Richardson and Jason Behrendorff. Johnson was purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the IPL 2025 auction for ₹2.80 crore, while the other four went unsold.

Afghanistan keeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz has also registered for the mini-auction at a base price of ₹1.5 crore. Gurbaz represented KKR in IPL from 2023 to 2025, scoring 363 runs in 19 matches, averaging 21.35 and a strike rate of 134.94. He was released by the franchise ahead of the IPL 2026 auction. New Zealand's Tim Seifert and India's Umesh Yadav also feature in the ₹1.5 crore bracket.

Ahead of the mini-auction in Abu Dhabi, Punjab Kings (PBKS) retained the maximum number of players (21). Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) retained 20 cricketers each.
