Full list of Australian players in IPL 2026 auction with base price

The final player list of the IPL 2026 auction was confirmed recently. A total of 350 players will be up for grabs at the mini-auction, which will take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16.

Earlier, as many as 1,390 players had registered for the IPL 2026 auction, with the final list being pruned to 350. The auction list includes 240 Indian players and 110 overseas cricketers. There are 224 uncapped Indian cricketers and 14 uncapped overseas players who are part of the player pool. Further, 16 capped Indian players and 96 capped overseas have also registered for the auction.

While 350 players have been shortlisted for the auction, a maximum of 77 slots can be filled up by the franchises, with 31 of the spots being for overseas cricketers. Players have registered in multiple price brackets, with ₹2 crore being the highest and ₹30 lakh being the lowest.

A total of 20 Australian players have registered for the IPL 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi. Among them, all-rounder Cameron Green, young batter Jake Fraser-McGurk, veteran batter Steve Smith, pacer Sean Abbott, keeper-batter Josh Inglis, and young batting all-rounder Cooper Connolly have registered in the highest base price category of ₹2 crore.

Among other big Australian names, Pat Cummins and Travis Head were retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Delhi Capitals (DC) retained Mitchell Starc, while Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) retained Mitchell Marsh. Glenn Maxwell was released by Punjab Kings (PBKS) after managing only 48 runs in six innings in IPL 2025. He subsequently opted out of the upcoming mini-auction.
