Team India all-rounder Axar Patel recently inaugurated his new house, 'Haksh Villa' in Nadiad, Gujarat, with his wife Meha. The couple named the residence after their son, Haksh, who was born on December 19, 2024.The star cricketer performed a 'Vastu Pujan', a Hindu ritual, ahead of India's upcoming two-match Test series. He picked up two wickets from as many outings and scored 45 runs across three innings.He was the Player of the Match in the fourth T20I. He played an unbeaten 21-run knock off 11 balls and bowled a spell of 4-0-20-2. He also revealed the gully cricket rules they followed while playing in the narrow passage.He said in 'The Axar Patel Documentary' on journalist Vimal Kumar's YouTube channel:"This is my main home ground. All friends would come and play here. The rules here were different. If the ball went out of the compound, it was out, one pitch catch was out. If you hit outside it was out, no boundary, and you had to play ground shots. That is why my straight drive is like always in the front and I don't play cross-batted. The boundary was only the front. No hitting out."Meanwhile, the two-match Test series between India and South Africa kicks off at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on Friday, November 14.
