India are facing Australia at The Gabba in Brisbane in the fifth and final T20I of the series. The Men in Blue are 2-1 up in the series following the thumping win in the previous match in Queensland. While they cannot lose the series, the visitors will be keen to end the tour with yet another victory in their kitty.

India were clinical in the previous T20I match against Australia. Sent into bat, they put up a competitive 167-8 on the board as Shubman Gill top-scored with 46, while Axar Patel hammered 21* off 11. The bowlers then came to the party as Australia were bowled out for just 119 in 18.2 overs. Axar and Shivam Dube claimed two each, while Washington Sundar claimed three in 1.2 overs.

India would be hoping for better efforts from some of their star batters. Abhishek Sharma has only one fifty in the tournament, while Gill failed to accelerate in the previous game. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav too has failed to convert starts.
