The much-anticipated schedule for T20 World Cup 2026 was revealed on Tuesday, November 25. The 20-team ICC event will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, with the tournament to be played from February 7 to March 8. The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi is among the venues selected to host T20 World Cup 2026 matches. Five of the venues are in India and three in Sri Lanka.
The first match of the T20 World Cup to be held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will be played between Netherlands and Namibia on February 10 in Group A. India and Namibia will then face each other in another Group A clash on February 12, while Canada will meet United Arab Emirates in Group D on February 13.
On February 16, Afghanistan will clash with United Arab Emirates in Group D, while South Africa will face United Arab Emirates on February 18. The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will also host a Super 8 Group 1 match (X2 vs X4) on March 1.

T20 World Cup 2026 Groups
The 20 teams taking part in the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup have been divided into four groups of five each. India, USA, Namibia, Netherlands and Pakistan are in Group A, while Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Oman are in Group B. Group C includes England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Italy and Nepal, while Group D features South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada and UAE.
The top two teams following the conclusion of the group stage will progress to the Super Eights. After the completion of the Super Eights stage, the top four sides will make it to the knockout round. The two semifinals of the tournament will be played on March 4 and March 5, with the grand final to be held on March 8.
