South Africa captain Aiden Markram took an excellent catch to dismiss Abhishek Sharma in the third T20I against India in Dharamsala on Sunday, December 14. As a result, Abhishek departed for 35 runs off 18 balls as the Men in Blue lost their first wicket for 60.

The dismissal came in the sixth over of India’s run chase. Corbin Bosch bowled a length ball outside off, and Abhishek backed himself for a big shot towards the off-side. The ball got height but not the distance as it hit the lower part of the willow. Markram sprinted from cover to complete the catch as two more fielders neared him. The latter dived to hold on to the catch.

Nonetheless, Abhishek already did the damage during his short stay at the crease, smashing three sixes and as many fours.
