Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been a terrific performer across formats in international cricket. The right-arm fast bowler made his white-ball debut for the Men in Blue in January 2016 during the tour of Australia and made an instant impact. The Ahmedabad-born pacer claimed 2-40 on one-day debut in Sydney and 3-23 on his T20I debut in Adelaide.

For the first couple of years, Bumrah was considered a white-ball specialist. Not many fans and experts gave him a chance of succeeding in red-ball cricket. However, the fast bowler proved all his critics wrong by making an impactful Test debut in South Africa in January 2018. Despite injury woes, he hasn't looked back.

Bumrah played his 50th Test when India took on West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi in October 2025. In this feature, we compare his stats with those of former Aussie speedster Brett Lee after the latter had also played 50 Tests.
