An interesting series between two of the best T20I teams in the world will come to an end on Saturday, November 8. India and Australia, who have gone toe to toe despite not being at full strength, will battle it out at The Gabba in Brisbane for the fifth and final time.

India, armed with a 2-1 lead in the series, will want to close out yet another bilateral series triumph. Although they have an important Test series against South Africa coming up, they might not be keen on resting and rotating their key players like Shubman Gill and Jasprit Bumrah.

Australia, meanwhile, will want to pull level in the rubber. Losing a bilateral white-ball series at home won't be a pleasant feeling, even though they have come to be without the likes of Travis Head and Josh Hazlewood. Glenn Maxwell's return in the previous game boosted them, but the all-rounder turned in a rather shocking display.

India have played better than many expected them to in the last two matches. The batters have done enough to get the team to a par score on tricky wickets, while Arshdeep Singh's return has beefed up the bowling attack.

However, India arguably still don't inspire enough confidence, especially when taking a venue like The Gabba into consideration. Pacers are expected to enjoy the conditions at the ground, and the Men in Blue currently have 12 overs of spin and Shivam Dube as the third pacer.

Australia's batting hasn't been convincing against spin, and that could remain irrespective of the conditions. But they are probably better equipped to tackle that challenge than they were in previous matches, with the likes of Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell due a solid performance.

This one is too close to call, and based off the last two encounters, India might even be the favorites. But Australia might just make the most of their home advantage to level the scores.

Prediction: Australia to win the 5th T20I vs India.
