India clinched the five-match T20I series against South Africa by a 3-1 margin. The Men in Blue came out on top by 30 runs in the final encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, December 19.
The hosts lost the toss and were asked to bat first, but turned in an excellent display to reach an above-par 231/5. South Africa fought hard in the chase for some time, but fell well short of the total to squander another white-ball series to India.
On that note, here are India's player ratings from the fifth T20I against South Africa.
IND vs SA 2025, 5th T20I: Batters star before Bumrah turns in vintage display

Abhishek Sharma: 7/10
Abhishek got India off to a flying start, even if he wasn't at his absolute best. The left-hander smacked six fours and a six to put his team ahead of the game and was unlucky not to get a wicket in the last over of the chase.
Sanju Samson: 7.5/10
Samson seemed a touch nervy at the start, but he played a lovely hand of 37. He stroked a few effortless boundaries and cleared the ropes twice, showing why he has a real case to be picked ahead of Shubman Gill at the top of the order.
Suryakumar Yadav: 2/10
Suryakumar's woes continued as yet another attempted loft over mid-off found its way to the fielder. India will be very worried about the form of their captain, who is having a miserable calendar year.
Tilak Varma: 8.5/10
Tilak started off with high intent, and while he lost his way somewhat through the middle overs, he recovered well to nearly remain unbeaten on a well-made 73. The No. 3 spot seems to suit him.
Washington Sundar: 8/10
Sundar wasn't required with the bat but chipped in with an invaluable bowling contribution. His four overs, of which three were in the powerplay, went for just 30 runs as he displayed wonderful defensive bowling skills. The less said about his fielding, the better.
Hardik Pandya: 9/10
Hardik was in his element right from the first ball he faced. He raced away to India's second-fastest fifty ever in the format as his blitz took the game away from the Proteas. While the all-rounder wasn't at his best with the ball, he picked up a wicket and was adjudged the Player of the Match.
Jitesh Sharma: 6/10
Jitesh was active on the field and receives a standard rating.
Varun Chakaravarthy: 7/10
Varun went for a few runs, with his economy rate reading 13.25 at the end of his spell. However, it wasn't a bad display from the star spinner, who was threatening throughout his four overs. He picked up four important wickets, and his control over the middle overs went a long way in India sealing not only the match but the series as well.
Shivam Dube: 7/10
Dube smacked 10 quickfire runs at the end of the first innings and plucked a one-handed catch that really should've been easier to grab.
Jasprit Bumrah: 9/10
Bumrah turned in one of his best displays in recent times. He was virtually unplayable, generating swing even at the end of the powerplay and using his cutters brilliantly. The ace speedster went for just 17 runs in his four overs in flat conditions and helped himself to a couple of wickets as well.
Arshdeep Singh: 4/10
Arshdeep, for the second time in the series, completely lost the plot in the powerplay. He went for 35 runs in his first two overs, sending down a few wides and not bowling to his field at any stage. The left-armer came back with a couple of decent overs at the death, but it wasn't enough to salvage his figures.
