It wasn't a good day in the office for Ryan Williams on Saturday as Alabama suffered a 28-7 defeat to Georgia in the SEC championship game. The Bulldogs dominated the game across the three phases, effectively limiting the sophomore wide receiver from causing damage.While the Crimson Tide struggled for the most part of the game in Atlanta, they could have kept the game close if they had avoided missing some big chances on offense. One of those was a failed catch in the air by Williams in the end zone during the early fourth quarter.With Alabama trailing 21-0, Ty Simpson found Ryan Williams with a deep pass in the end zone to open the scoring for the Crimson Tide. However, while the wide receiver made a great attempt to make the catch, he missed the ball amid close coverage by defensive back Ellis Robinson.Williams finished the game with just 2 receptions for 33 yards, showcasing how limited he was. The wide receiver announced himself to the college football world as a freshman against Georgia last season.
