Diego Pavia's No. 9 Vanderbilt (7-1) will be in action against No. 20 Texas (6-2) in Week 10 on Saturday. Ahead of the game, the Commodores quarterback made some bold remarks about his team and Texas while being interviewed by ESPN's Marty Smith.

"This is the Louis Vuitton vs. some underground yard sale.” Pavia said.

When fans on social media caught wind of Pavia's comments, they had some interesting reactions.

Entering the matchup against Texas, Diego Pavia has recorded 1,698 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, two interceptions and five rushing TDs this season.

Some believe that Pavia is also in the running for the Heisman Trophy due to his excellent performances so far.
