Nick Saban’s daughter Kristen Saban throws clear jab at LSU after ex-Alabama HC gets linked as Brian Kelly’s replacement

Nick Saban's daughter Kristen responded to a fan who seemingly commented on the former Alabama coach's rumored links to LSU.

An Instagram post surfaced of Saban and his wife, Miss Terry, together at Coleman Coliseum to watch Alabama's basketball team in action against Purdue on Thursday.

Amid rumors linking Saban back to LSU, a fan commented on the post, saying she was "glad" the seven-time national champion winning coach was not in Baton Rouge. When Kristen saw the comment, she responded to the fan while aiming a dig at LSU.

"Same," Kristen commented, followed by a green sick-face emoji.

Although it's unclear whether the fan was taking a shot at Saban, Kristen's reaction suggests she is not a big fan of her father returning to LSU.

LSU fired Brian Kelly from his coaching role last week. Since then, Saban has been among the names rumored to be in the running for the job.

Notably, Saban won his first national title at LSU in the 2003 season. He won six more championships at Alabama.

Saban compiled a 292-71-1 record as a coach at the collegiate level. He is set to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in December.

Nick Saban announced that he was stepping down from coaching at Alabama in January 2024. A few months later, he signed a deal with ESPN to serve as an analyst.

Saban is currently in his second year as a member of the College GameDay crew.

Although Saban has been rumored to return to coaching, Kristen often hints on social media that he plans to remain retired.
