The No.9 Alabama Crimson Tide suffered a disappointing 28-7 loss in the SEC championship game at the hands of the No.3 Georgia Bulldogs. Following Saturday's result, there are questions regarding the team's chances of making this season' 12-team playoffs.However, despite a three-loss record, Kalen DeBoer and his team are still favored to qualify for the playoffs. This did not sit well with Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy. In a series of tweets on X, he called out the CFP selection committee for being biased towards Alabama. Portnoy also compared their loss to the BYU Cougars, who lost the Big 12 championship game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. "So remind me. It only counts when BYU gets blown out in the conference title game, but for Bama it doesn't matter cause it's an extra game for them? I think I got it now.
