However, he was fired after a 1-3 start to the 2008 NFL season. He got the HC role at Tennessee for the 2009 season.Kiffin guided the Volunteers to a 7-6 record before stunningly jumping ship to coach the USC Trojans. Kiffin lasted just over three seasons in South California before being shown the door after a 3-2 start in 2013.Then there was his three-season stint with the Florida Atlantic Owls.
