Earlier this year, Alabama alum Sydney Thomas, who went viral after appearing as the ring girl for the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul boxing match, said an SEC coach sent her a DM in January.

Thoman didn't reveal the name of the coach and speculations arose of the coach being Ole Miss' Lane Kiffin. The former Ole Miss coach responded to the allegations, pinning the blame on Nick Saban, sharing a picture of Thomas and Saban posing at a golf event.

However, in an episode of the Netflix reality competition "Inside: USA," Thomas confirmed Kiffin had sent her a DM.

"I'd say Lane Kiffin… Another SEC football coach slid in with ‘Roll Tide’ and he's the coach of Ole Miss," Thomas said.

Lane Kiffin claims his request to end the season with Ole Miss was denied

After Lane Kiffin decided to walk away from Ole Miss on Sunday, the former coach claimed he was willing to see out the season after leading the team to the playoffs. However, Kiffin said his request was denied and he decided to join LSU after the Egg Bowl.

“I was hoping to complete a historic six season run with this year’s team by leading Ole Miss through the playoffs, capitalizing on the team’s incredible success and their commitment to finish strong, and investing everything into a playoff run with guardrails in place to protect the program in any areas of concern," Kiffin said in a statement on Sunday.

“My request to do so was denied by Keith Carter despite the team also asking him to allow me to keep coaching them so they could better maintain their high level of performance. Unfortunately, that means Friday’s Egg Bowl was my last game coaching the Rebels.”

According to latest reports, several of Kiffin's staff at Ole Miss will be joining him at LSU. Offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr and wide receivers coach George McDonald are among the staff members to make the switch to LSU along with Kiffin.
