Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss recorded an important 34-24 win over the Florida Gators on Saturday. After the game, Kiffin celebrated on the field with his son, Monte Knox, and a woman whom some wrongly identified as his reconciled wife, Layla. In his postgame news conference, Kiffin was asked about his moment with Knox and Layla, but he quickly confirmed that it wasn't his partner he hugged, but rather Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter's wife.“Only problem with your Layla story -- that was Keith’s wife that I hugged,” Kiffin said. “Not Layla. So, I guess all blondes look alike. But other than that, it was a cool story. … That’s how rumors get started, by the way.”Lane and Layla married in 2004 but divorced in 2016. However, the two have reportedly reconciled in recent months. Kiffin also shared some details of his personal life, including watching his son play football in Oxford.“Just seeing Knox play last night (Friday), like, the whole good ole days that I tell our players,” Kiffin said. “I’m in them right now for my life. I just don’t think people don't realize when they’re in them, and then they get older and they say, ‘Remember that? It was so great back then.’ I’m just fortunate to be in them.”Lane and Layla have three children: daughters Landry and Presley, and a son, Monte Knox.Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss has an open week in Week 13 of the 2025 college football seasonNCAA Football: Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin - Source: ImagnLane Kiffin's No. 7 Ole Miss (10-1, 6-1 Southeastern Conference) has an open week in Week 13.
