Sherrone Moore's Michigan needs to produce a big comeback to beat Ohio State in its Week 14 clash at Ann Arbor. The Wolverines trail 17-9 at halftime, and Moore appeared to mismanage his timeouts, leaving his team without a chance to mount a drive before the break to potentially cut the deficit.

Fans were unhappy with Moore's clock management, primarily late in the second quarter when Ohio State ran down the clock to about 30 seconds before scoring a touchdown. Moore then asked his players to kneel rather than attempt to move the ball aggressively downfield.

"F*ck Sherrone Moore. Let OSU waste the entire clock knowing they get it out of halftime. Absolute moron per usual," one tweeted.

"That is some HORRENDOUS clock management from Sherrone Moore during that sequence. Doesn't even give them a chance to respond before half," another added.
"Sherrone Moore once again being completely f*cking incompetent with timeouts. Guy is a F*CKING MORON!" a third commented.
"Sherrone Moore has absolutely no idea how to use timeouts. Call a timeout with 2:03 three seconds before the 2-minute timeout. Doesn't take timeout with Ohio State not pressed for time in the goal to go spot. What the actual," one wrote.

"Sherrone Moore f*cking sucks at clock management. Should've called TO after that tackle for a loss," another added.
"Sherrone Moore doing the worst job imaginable managing the clock. Just completely f*cking clueless," a user tweeted.

Michigan hired Moore as its tight ends coach in January 2018. He was promoted to co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in January 2021.

Moore served as Michigan's acting head coach in four games during the 2023 national championship-winning season, when Jim Harbaugh was suspended amid the team's sign-stealing scandal.

Moore succeeded Harbaugh as Michigan's head coach before the 2024 season. He led the team to an 8-5 record last season.

According to ESPN Analytics, No. 15 Michigan had a 21.8% chance of beating top-ranked Ohio State and a 6.8% chance of making the College Football Playoff entering Week 14.

However, since Michigan is trailing at halftime, its chances of winning and potentially making the playoff might be even slimmer.
