Warzone and Black Ops 7 Season 1: Everything we know

Warzone and Black Ops 7 Season 1 may go live on December 4, 2025. This date is based on the Battle Pass timer for Black Ops 6; the moment Season 6 of BO6 ends, the new Season 1 for Black Ops 7 may begin. As of writing, November 17, 2025, the timer shows 17 days remaining, so the expected release date falls on December 4, 2025.

No official date has been confirmed yet. As for the content, we have limited information that the developers have revealed.

Warzone and Black Ops 7 Season 1 content explored

As mentioned, Warzone and Black Ops 7 Season 1 may release on December 4, 2025. According to the developers, this will be the biggest post-launch content drop in the history of Call of Duty. This will include new maps, modes, weapons, Zombies content, and Warzone integration.

Black Ops 7 Season 1 new maps

Season 1 will feature seven 6v6 maps. Although all seven have not been revealed, a few have, and we know certain details about them.

Fate: This map will be based on the compound in Nicaragua from the Black Ops 2 mission Time and Fate.
Odysseus: This map will be based on the Black Ops 2 mission of the same name.
Utopia: This map is set in Australia, which serves as an abandoned Guild facility used for advanced research for Project Synapse.
Yakei: No information has been revealed.

We will also receive two remastered maps from Black Ops 2 named Standoff and Meltdown.

Black Ops 7 Season 1 weapons, game modes, and gameplay elements

Weapons

Black Ops 7 Season 1 will add seven new weapons to the game. Although we don't know the names of every weapon, we do know that the popular weapon from Black Ops 4, the Maddox assault rifle, will return. We will also see the return of the Crossbow and the Ballistic Knife.

Gameplay element

Season 1 will also feature a new Scorestreak called the Dead Eye Drone. The details about this Scorestreak have not been revealed.

Game modes

The popular game modes Sticks and Stones and Prop Hunt will return. There will also be Holiday LTMs (Limited Time Modes), which are kept hidden, and no information has been released yet.

Black Ops 7 Zombies Season 1 content

As for Black Ops 7 Zombies, Season 1 will bring a new map called Astra Malorum with a new main quest Easter Egg. We don't know any details of the map, but it is described by one of the developers as "out of this world."

Other than that, there will be two Survival maps, which will be based on two POIs from the Ashes of the Damned map. One will be the Exit 115 POI, which will be the first Survival map of Season 1, and the other POI, Cosmodrome, will be added later in Season 1 during the mid-season update.

Season 1 will also bring back the seasonal Field Upgrades and Ammo Mods from Black Ops 6 Zombies, like the Mister Peeks Field Upgrade, Frost Blast Field Upgrade, and Light Mend Ammo Mod. New Augments will also be added to these enhancements.

Warzone Season 1 content

As for Warzone, we don't know any details, but one thing we do know is that Warzone will be completely integrated with Black Ops 7 starting with Season 1.
