It can be found inside the Luminarium in the Observatory, where it is attached to a tall Tesla coil. One must purchase the trap to trigger it during an ongoing match.

The Stellar Dissector in Black Ops 7 is classified as a trap. In the Ashes of the Damned map, players could use the Saw Blade trap in-game to destroy zombies in close range. The new traps work similarly.

To use it, you must play on Astra Malorum in Black Ops 7. Once on the map, go to the Observatory and locate the Stellar Dissector in the Luminarium zone. The machine is massive, which makes it very easy to find in the center of the room.

To use it, approach the machine, and you can use it by pulling the lever and spending 1,000 Essence Points on the spot. Upon spending the points, the Stellar Dissector in Black Ops 7 will activate, emitting powerful laser beams in the whole room, instantly destroying any enemies hit by the beams.

This is essentially what the new trap does. Its description simply states that you can activate the machine to cut up zombies in its range.

Apart from this trap, you can also use the Apogee Annihilator found in the Stargazor’s Courtyard, and use it by spending 1,500 Essence Points. This second trap consists of Astronomer Rockets, which can be used to bomb away at your enemies.

However, to reach the Stargazor’s Courtyard, you may have to fulfill a certain criterion, which is yet to be revealed by the developers as of the time of writing. This may require defeating a certain enemy or unlocking a separate part of the map.
