Unlocking Tac Sprint in Warzone will give players increased mobility and a competitive edge during encounters. The mechanic is not only crucial in gunfights but also helps in navigating objectives. However, as of the release of Warzone Season 1, this movement feature has been removed as a default ability. However, you can still use it with the help of a specific Perk.
This article explains how to unlock Tac Sprint in Warzone.
How to enable Tac Sprint in Warzone
According to the latest intel drop, Tac Sprint in Warzone will not be a part of the title's default movement system. All Operators in the game will receive a slight increase in the base movement speed. To enable Tac Sprint, you will have to equip the new Sprinter perk. In Warzone Season 1, you get to choose three Perks from a total of 15 available ones. One Perk can be equipped from a set of five each in Perk slots 1, 2, and 3.

Here's how you equip a Perk and enable Tac Sprint in Warzone:
- Launch Warzone and head to the loadouts menu.
- Select and equip "Sprinter" from the list of red Perks in the available slot.
- Start a match to test the Tac Sprint in-game.
The Gung-Ho Perk is also merged into Sprinter, boosting sprinting performance. Equipping this Perk in the Perk slot grants a movement speed similar to tactical sprinting. You can also equip the Mountaineer Perk to execute Combat Rolls for better mobility. Sprinter emphasizes high-mobility playstyles, and with the increased base movement speed, the general gameplay is fairer for new players.

Operators can use Tac Sprint in Warzone to close the gap on an enemy just before making a jump shot. The sprint-to-fire time can be minimized by cancelling the Tac Sprint by sliding, jumping, or instant crouching, which allows your character to quickly switch to firing.
The Sprinter Perk is best paired with shotgun- or SMG-focused loadouts, which are typically used in hyper-aggressive, close-quarter gameplay.
