The 2025 season witnessed hundreds of BGMI esports teams battle in official and third-party tournaments. Among them, a few teams managed to perform consistently and position themselves amongst the best lineups in the country. While some popular organizations have the best-performing teams, some underdog lineups have also brilliantly performed in 2025.

5) Gods Reign

Gods Reign started 2025 by winning the SPS ESL 2025. They also showed consistent performances in BMSD 2025, iQOO Battlegrounds Series, and BGMS 2025.

The team ended the 2025 season by finishing third in the CEGC 2025 LAN tournament.

Their acquisition of Dynamo Gaming as a co-owner also resulted in the org's partnership with Hydra Esports (one of the most popular BGMI orgs). The partnership has fueled Gods Reign campaign with renewed support.

Furthermore, with Aquanox recently joining the lineup, fans will be hopeful of more trophies in 2026.

4) K9 Esports

K9 Esports made a strong start to their 2025 campaign by finishing as runner-up in the Snapdragon Pro Series ESL 2025. They maintained their consistency in the next few tournaments and established themselves as one of the best BGMI esports teams of 2025.

K9 finished third in the iQOO Battlegrounds Series and as runner-up in the BMSD 2025 tournament. However, Slug, Beast, and NinjaBoi's heroics, along with Omega's tactics, helped K9 win the Battlegrounds Mobile Masters Series 2025 (BGMS).

3) Team SouL

Team SouL is undoubtedly among the most followed BGMI esports teams. The team has a rich legacy, carried forward by the current roster filled with superstars - Goblin, Nakul, Joker, Legit, and Thunder.

While the team did not begin 2025 on a strong note, they turned things around by changing their IGL (Manya) and mentor (Mayavi), which led to trophies and consecutive podium finishes.

Led by the new IGL Nakul, Team SouL finished third in the BGMS 2025 and BMPS 2025. The team ended the 2025 season on a high, winning the Chennai Esports Global Championship (CEGC) 2025. The win witnessed the side become the first BGMI esports team to win a tournament via the Smash Rule.

2) True Rippers

Led by Jelly, True Rippers has been one of the most consistent BGMI esports teams in the 2025 season.

Following Ninzae's departure, players like Harsh, KioLmao, and Hydro stepped up and helped their IGL in every way to become a formidable lineup. While the team finished fourth in BGMS 2025 and BMSD 2025, they ended up as runner-up in BMIC 2025 and CEGC 2025, respectively.

Since True Rippers will be representing India in the PMGC 2025 Group Stages, fans will be hoping for a great result.

1) Orangutan Esports

Orangutan Esports has consistently performed in BGMI tournaments in the last few years. However, they hit their peak in 2025 by claiming multiple trophies and winning LAN tournaments.

After a third-place finish in BGIS 2025 and a fourth-place finish in SPS ESL 2025, Orangutan clinched their first title by winning the iQOO Battlegrounds Series tournament.

By winning the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2025 (BMSD), Orangutan became the first team to qualify for the PMGC 2025 tournament. They will represent India in the global tournament's Gauntlet Stage.

All eyes will be on AKOP, Aaru, Attanki, and Wizzgod as they embark on their PMGC journey from November 24, 2025.
