BGMI star Hydro from True Rippers emerged as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Grand Finals of the Chennai Esports Global Championship (CEGC) 2025. While the team was the runner-up in the event, Hydro grabbed 42 finishes in 16 matches in the finale and ranked first on the elimination leaderboard. The team was 12th in the overall standings after six games.Hydro played outstandingly on Day 2 and jumped to the top spot on the overall kill leaderboard with 34 eliminations. He helped True Rippers finish second in the overall standings. The BGMI star alone grabbed nine eliminations in the third game of the day. His team added 67 points to its name on Day 2.Hydro clinched eight eliminations on Day 3 and remained in the first place on the overall kill leaderboard. He took 42 eliminations in 16 games and won the FMVP title.
