India’s Orangutan arrives in Thailand for PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025

Orangutan from India arrived in Thailand on November 20 for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025. The club will fight in the Gauntlet Stage from November 24 to 26 for seven spots in the Grand Finals. The Indian team became the champion of the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2025 and earned a seat in the Global Championship.

A total of 40 teams from across the world will compete in the PMGC 2025. The event will kick off on November 24 and run till December 14, 2025. True Rippers from India has also qualified for the event. The team will play in the Group Stage of the tournament, which will start on November 28.


Orangutan to fight in PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Stage

The Gauntlet Stage of the Global Championship will feature a total of 16 teams. The top seven teams from the three-day contest will qualify for the Grand Finals. The bottom nine candidates will play in the Group Stage, in which 23 teams have qualified from the regional tournaments.

Orangutan features experienced players, including Aaru, AKOP, Attanki, and WizzGoD. In 2025, it displayed astonishing performances in the BGMI scene. The team won two major events, including BMSD and iQOO Battlegrounds Series. The renowned team was third in the BGIS 2025 and fourth in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series.

Now, Orangutan will play its first international PUBG Mobile tournament. The Aaru-led squad will aim to perform well in the Gauntlet Stage and secure a spot in the Grand Finals. Its main focus will now be to earn a podium in the PMGC 2025 and end the year on a positive note.

Many top-tier squads like Alpha7 Esports, Alpha Gaming, D'Xavier, and Regnum, and DRX will be seen playing in the PMGC Gauntlet Stage. These clubs have contested in major PUBG Mobile majors in the past.
