GodLike, Madkings, and 6 other BGMI teams eliminated from Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025

The Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) of the Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 (BGMI) concluded on November 11. The top eight teams from this stage earned their spots in the Grand Finals, while those ranked ninth to 16th were eliminated from the tournament.

Popular teams such as GodLike, Marcos Gaming, Wyld Fangs, and Madkings failed to break into the LCQ top eight. Their performances throughout the event were below average and fell short of expectations.

The Grand Finals will feature the top eight teams from both the Semifinals and the LCQ. They are scheduled to take place from November 14 to 16.


Eight teams face elimination from CEGC 2025 BGMI

A total of 16 teams participated in the Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) of the Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 (BGMI). Here are the overall standings:

  1. Team Tamilas - 188 points
  2. Autobotz - 186 points
  3. FS Esports - 186 points
  4. True Rippers - 178 points
  5. Team Soul - 174 points
  6. K9 Esports - 172 points
  7. Versatile - 165 points
  8. Victores Sumus - 165 points
  9. Marcos Gaming - 151 points
  10. Meta Ninza - 148 points
  11. Wyld Fangs - 139 points
  12. Team GodLike - 137 points
  13. Rising Esports - 113 points
  14. Madkings - 98 points
  15. Why Not Esports - 72 points
  16. DSG Official - 15 points

Marcos Gaming finished in ninth place with 151 points, failing to secure a place in the Grand Finals. Meta Ninza and Wyld Fangs followed, having come 10th and 11th with 148 and 139 points, respectively.

Team GodLike, which recently signed Manya and Spower, struggled to make an impact and ended up in 12th place. The team managed to collect only 137 points, supported by 108 eliminations and one Chicken Dinner.

Rising Esports, which recently acquired Team Aryan’s BGMI roster, also had a disappointing run and finished 13th with 113 points. Madkings faltered as well, landing in 14th place. Why Not Esports and DSG had poor performances and ended up in the bottom two.

On the other end, Team Tamilas emerged as the top performer in the LCQ, securing 188 points and 107 eliminations. Autobotz and FS Esports finished second and third with 186 points each, showcasing consistent performances across 24 matches.

True Rippers followed in fourth with 178 points. Team Soul, K9, and Versatile ranked fifth, sixth, and seventh with 174, 172, and 165 points, respectively. Victores Sumus also qualified for the Grand Finals, finishing eighth with 165 points
