CEGC 2025 BGMI Semifinals: Teams, groups, dates, and how to watch

The Chennai Esports Global Championship (CEGC) 2025 Semifinals will be played from November 4-7, 2025. A total of 24 BGMI teams will contest in the stage, 20 of which have been invited directly to the Semifinals, while four were selected from the Qualifiers. The squads have been divided into three groups of eight teams. The event features a lucrative prize pool of ₹50 lakh.

The top eight squads from the CEGC Semifinals will qualify for the Grand Finals, while the remaining 16 will compete in the Last Chance Qualifier, scheduled from November 8-11, 2025. Similarly, the eight best teams from the Last Chance will move to the Grand Finals, while the remaining contenders will face elimination from the Chennai Global Championship 2025.

How to watch

Each day of the Semifinals will feature six games across three BGMI maps, including Rondo, Erangel, and Miramar. Fans can watch it live on the YouTube channel of Skyesports from 1 pm IST onwards.

Orangutan Gaming recently clinched the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) and earned a spot in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025. The Aaru-led squad will aim to perform well and remain confident ahead of the PMGC.

True Rippers recently finished second in the BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2025, which featured teams from South Korea, Japan, and India. The Jelly-led squad has also made it to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 and will aim to win the CEGC 2025.

Nebula, led by Aadi, also played well in the BMIC. Meanwhile, Soul, K9, and Madkings had an average run and will look to improve their performances in the CEGC 2025. GodLike Esports has signed Manya and Spower ahead of the event. The team has been struggling for the past few months. Under the leadership of Manya, the squad will compete in its first major tournament in the CEGC.

Moving on, Revenant XSpark has signed former GodLike player Punk ahead of the CEGC 2025. Meanwhile, Team 8Bit, Versatile, Meta Ninza, and many other teams have made changes in their respective rosters ahead of the tournament, after having struggled in the past few months.
