The Philadelphia 76ers have an uphill battle on Tuesday against the Orlando Magic at home as they chase their first NBA Cup win. Seven players have been listed on the injury report, headlined by Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, Paul George and rookie VJ Edgecombe.
Embiid could return after seven games. He missed time due to right knee injury management. Embiid is questionable and will be a game-time decision. His status has been upgraded for the first time during this absence. Embiid was a full participant in Monday's practice, so there's a decent chance he plays.
Meanwhile, Edgecombe will miss a second consecutive game due to left calf tightness. He reported the issue after Wednesday's 123-114 win in Milwaukee. There are no other updates available regarding his return.
Maxey and George are probable and likely to play. Maxey is dealing with a right shoulder sprain, while George is listed due to a right ankle sprain. Jared McCain also made the report due to right thumb surgery recovery, but the second-year guard will be available.

Kelly Oubre Jr. and Adem Bona will remain sidelined. Oubre is recovering from a left knee sprain, while Bona has a right ankle sprain.
The Philadelphia 76ers will hope all the injury probables are available as they look to gain momentum after an uneven run following their 5-1 start. They last won a consecutive game on Oct. 28 after recording a fourth straight win to tip off the year.
The Orlando Magic are missing Paolo Banchero, but have won six of their last eight and are in a better spot. The Sixers will need to be close to full strength to get over the hump against their conference rivals.
