"Made a Complete Clown of Himself" - Draymond Green Savagely Rips $52,500,002 European Big For Selling Foul Calls

For years, the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies have starred in some epic battles.

Ja Morant and company constantly went at the Warriors, trying to challenge them as the team to beat in the West. More often than not, that didn't end well for them, but the rivalry brewed.

That's why it wasn't much of a surprise to see Draymond Green get into it with Santi Aldama in their latest meeting.

In the latest edition of his podcast, the four-time NBA champion called out Aldama for, in his eyes, flopping to get a flagrant foul after he talked a lot of trash:

"He's a guy who always talks," Green said. "Every time we play them, he talks; he likes to mix it up a bit. You know, I'm all for mixing it up a bit. What I don't like is guys that talk and, like, act like they want to mix it up and then you get a little baby foul and you fall out grabbing your neck, grabbing your head like you're dead."

Per Green, Aldama, who signed a $52,500,002 contract with the Grizzlies, has now lost all credibility. He believes that his flopping cost him all respect, and that's not going to change now:

"It's almost like you just sold your soul for two free throws," Green said. "What happens is you lose all respect. So now, you're a sucker, and we can't un-sucker you (...). He made a complete clown out of himself."

To add insult to injury, Aldama missed the free throws, and his team lost the game.

Draymond Green chooses five contenders in the West

That wasn't the only bold comment Green shared on his podcast.

He assess both conferences after the first week of the NBA season, and he chose his five potential contenders to come out of the Western Conference:

"When I look at the conference, I think the true contenders in my mind, when I think about this, is OKC, yours truly, the Dubs," Green said. "Denver, obviously (...). And then I think you've got to look at both LA teams, both of those teams need good breaks."

Notably, he doesn't have the Houston Rockets or Minnesota Timberwolves among his potential contenders.

So far, the Warriors have won all but one of their games, and while it's still early in the regular season, it looks like the dynasty is far from over.
